Childhood Memories
Dolly Mixtures is a 79" x 86" quilt to be made over 12 months, using stunning Alison Glass Sunprints 2021 and Cross stitch fabrics.
Reignite your childhood memories with me as we make these fun skillbuilder blocks. From 'Hopscotch' to 'Ring a Rosie' and 'Schoolhouse' , you will be reminded of childhood games and experiences as we work through the blocks and I share my stories and memories with you.
Each month we will be doing some piecing and some applique. I'll be using Machine applique for my quilt, but you can hand piece and hand applique if you prefer.
The fabric pack is available from Quilters' Lane for New Zealand and Australia, or from Cotton Cuts for the rest of the world.
I've curated a set of deliciously shiny Polyfast threads from Wonderfil to use for the stitching around the applique pieces and this can be purchased in addition to the fabric kit.
I will also be using a selection of Creative Grids rulers to make the cutting out go really smoothly. I'll demonstrate how to use these recommended rulers in the videos.

Online videos
I will be filming a video for each pattern showing you how I make the block, and including hints, tips and tool demos. Access the videos via my website, or download the Kajabi app to your phone or iPad and view them whenever suits you. These video lessons are all included in the price of the pattern.
